Alanya is one of the best tourist cities in Turkey, which is a wonderful combination of the sea and the quiet and unique forests. The climate of Alanya and the Mediterranean is generally moderate. The city enjoys a mild climate in summer and rainy and humid winters. The city experiences more than 300 sunny days a year and the average temperature in the warm months of the year is 32 degrees. The peak of the season in July and August is a guarantee of great, sunny and hot weather - sun shines the strongest and the longest. When it comes to air temperature, it doesn't fall down below 25 degrees during the night in summer months. The temperature during the day in the high summer season is 35 or even 37 degrees. So you are guaranteed warmth! The sea in Alanya can also be classified as warm. The water reaches 26 degrees. The water is so warm and pleasant, so you can spend hours on swimming!
Recommendations: Light skin people may get burned in less than 5 minutes. The Sun's UV radiation is most powerful between 10 AM and 4 PM. To the extent possible, limit exposure to the direct sun during these hours. A wide-brim hat offers excellent sun protection for the eyes, ears, face, and neck. Sunglasses with UVA and UVB protection significantly reduce eye damage from sun exposure. Tightly woven, loose-fitting clothes provide additional protection from the sun. Even on cloudy days, a sunscreen with a minimum 30 SPF should be generously applied and frequently re-applied, including after every swim or outdoor exercise.
The climate is extremely healthy! For example, most people with allergies and asthma here are completely free of health problems without the need for extra medication. The unique climate gives the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of fresh fruits, berries and vegetables all year round, sunbathing, swimming in the gentle waves of the Mediterranean Sea and breathing healthy mountain air! It is the ideal place for a healthy and fulfilling life!
